Guitar League presents….
In honor of International Guitar Month, the Southern Wisconsin Chapter of Guitar League is hosting a special expo! Featured guests include David Irwin and Helen Avakian of Red Door Duo, Steve Oasen of the Dawg Bones, and Brooke Nunn. Be sure to bring your guitar for this special event!
Sessions will be as follows:
7:00 - 8:00PM (this group will run once but participants can switch between groups as needed)
• String Changing Demo with Knapton Musik Knotes (bring your own strings or purchase in-store)
•Scales 101 with Evan Riley. Scales reviewed will include basic minor and major pentatonic scales - how they relate to each other and how/when to use them.
•Guitar Circle(s) with Steve Oasen and Brooke Nunn. Bring your guitar to play with these seasoned performers.
8:00 - 8:30 and 8:30 - 9:00 (the 8:00 and 8:30 groups run twice to participants can switch easier…but a participant can do the same group twice if they wish).
• Guitar care workshop presented by Knapton
• Learn a full group song with chords/tab/bass options by 2014 International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion Helen Avakian!
• Spice up your chords 7th, 9th, etc…run by local music Dave Irwin.
• Self-run open jam session
