Clavinova Festival 2018 is just around the corner!  

CONCERTS:  December 1st, 1pm & 3pm

WHO:  All Rock County students are eligible to participate at no charge!  You do not need to be taking lessons at Knapton Musik Knotes.

WHAT:  Students will take a piano tune they already know & practice it on the Clavinova (at no charge) with one of our staff members.  The Yamaha Clavinova has diverse features that will make the song sound like you've never heard before!

Students will perform new unique song versions on December 1st during their assigned concert time.  Family and friends are welcome to attend!

Festival will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired located at 1700 W. State St., Janesville, WI 53546. 

Festival Fees are $25.00 for the first event and $23.00 for each additional event. These entry fees cover:  Festival fee of $18 per event, *NFMC Junior Membership dues of $2.00 and Knapton Musik Knotes administrative fee of $5.00 per event.

All entry forms and fees (payable by check or cash only) must be turned in to Knapton Musik Knotes no later than Friday, October 27th, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

Gabriel Aldort is a New York composer and performer with a unique jazzy blues style.  From 6-7pm, students and teachers can meet Gabe in person and ask questions and learn some Clavinova tips!  A concert will follow, which the public is welcome to attend!

Although this is a free event, we ask that you register, as space is limited.

A Music Talent Contest, presented by the MacDowell Music Club, will be held on Friday, May 5th at 7:00 PM at Knapton Musik Knotes. This contest is open to all ages, and participants may sing or play an instrument of their choice.

Easy Keyboard classes for adults are fun and a great way to meet new friends!  In this 10-week group class,  you will learn music, have fun, and feel a sense of accomplishment at your first lesson. 

This course is designed for the adult who wants to make music immediately without years of training our music theory.
