Brass
Unlike woodwinds, which can be made of materials other than wood, brass instruments are made of brass tubing of various diameters and shapes. Brass instruments have a detachable mouthpiece at one end, a curved metal tube in the middle, and a flared bell at the other. These instruments produce sounds when the players lips vibrate (buzz) against a mouthpiece, causing the air to vibrate.
Most common brass instruments include:
French Horn
Trumpet
Trombone
Tuba
Euphonium
Baritone
